The Issues: Energy Efficiency and Conservation
With energy problems dramatically changing our way of life, efficiency and conservation are a high priority. She recognizes that moving toward a new, smarter energy future will allow us to invest in our state's economy, save taxpayers money, and protect our quality of air and our lakes and rivers. Our citizens should not have to pay the price if our leaders choose to continue the current energy path where ever increasing demands lead to ever-increasing reliance on fossil fuels and nuclear power with mounting economic, environmental and health consequences.
